Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit,
but in humility consider others better than yourselves.Philippians 2:3 [NIV]
Most people look in the mirror and either approve or disapprove of the way their bodies look. They view their body as something that should look sexy and appealing because it inflates their ego. Others look upon their bodies with disappointment and self-loathing. Some see themselves as a hideous sack of drooping flab. Many have tried every diet known or joined a gym in their quest for health and beauty. Since nothing has worked, they are ready to give up because they know in their hearts that they still are not healthy after all their efforts. As people get older, they often begin to lose their will to change, rationalizing that it’s too late in life for them to do anything about it.
